The development of our ecosystem here at Solvoz has been underpinned by a commitment to promote and facilitate a knowledge-sharing and collaborative learning ethos within our sector. No matter what level of expertise or experience you may have, we believe that every day presents us with opportunities to learn and share something new.
Today – the International Day for Universal Access to Information – we are grateful for the amazing technological advancements of the last decade that have allowed knowledge relevant to our sector to become more accessible than ever before.
However, we also recognise that there is much progress to still be made in addressing the ongoing knowledge gaps between humanitarians working in different contexts, both within and between organisations.
This is why – with the support of the Solvoz Foundation – we’ve integrated an openaccess knowledge directory within our humanitarian solutions catalogue, which supports both the accumulation and dissemination of important technical and contextual knowledge resources. This includes the publication of brand new knowledge that we’ve been able to cultivate through a range of partnership projects to support organisations to develop more effective and sustainable humanitarian responses.
