Exciting Announcement: Solvoz is now ISO 27001:2022 Certified
We’re proud to announce that Solvoz has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the globally recognized standard for information security management. With cyber threats constantly evolving, safeguarding sensitive data is critical. Last year we therefore decided to proceed with a comprehensive and deliberate initiative, investing significant time and resources to meticulously prepare our systems and processes. This rigorous journey was undertaken because we recognized that obtaining this certificate was not just a formality, but a vital step in reinforcing our commitment to the highest standards of data security. This certification confirms that Solvoz has implemented a robust, risk-aware security framework that meets international best practices.
Beyond compliance, this ecognition reflects our dedication to providing a secure and resilient platform that upholds a proactive and consistent approach to data protection and risk management. We will soon share more information regarding our policies and news about our certification! Want to know more about #ISO27001 already? Learn more here: https://www.iso.org/standard/27001
Solvoz at HNPW
Last week, HNPW (the Humanitarian Network and Partnership Week) took place in Geneva, with a different dynamic compared to previous years, due to travel restrictions for many. However those that were around more determined than ever to discuss collaboration in the humanitarian sector and discussing the future of the sector.
Throughout the week, we (our CEO Claire Barnhoorn was present the entire week) participated in workshops and sessions, such as the Horizon Europe funded project WORM – Waste management challenges in humanitarian operations – presenting the work around sustainable procurement lead by Solvoz. But also discussing the “Closing the Loop” project session with Diego Vega, Gemma Arthurson , and Claire Louise Travers. Besides, we had many meetings where we explored ways to support other agencies to improve local procurement and enhance the efficiency of sourcing. Reinforcing our commitment to run cost-effective and responsible procedures that support a diversified supplier base.

Reflecting on the event, we were inspired by the collective drive to overcome challenges posed on our sectors these days. These discussions reaffirmed our core mission, established over five years ago, to increase local sourcing and drive operational efficiency for aid and health programs globally. Our impact case studies have shown that by streamlining procurement processes, organizations can secure significant cost savings and reallocate resources for greater impact. We left HNPW more motivated than ever to continue our journey of empowering organizations with innovative sourcing solutions.
