10 – WORM partnership
This year, Solvoz proudly joined the WORM Partnership (WORM – Waste management challenges in humanitarian operations), an European Union funded hashtag#HorizonEurope initiative dedicated to transforming waste management in the humanitarian sector. Our 10 – WORM partnership of the 10 highlights of Solvoz 2024:
Together with our pioneering partners from around the world, we are developing sustainable solutions that minimize the environmental impact of humanitarian operations whilst enhancing the efficiency of critical aid delivery.
As Solvoz continues to lead the consortium’s procurement contributions, we are thankful for all the inspiring conversations we have had with our partners and stakeholders so far and look forward to an exciting second year of this project!

9 – Multi-lingual and auto-translate
In 2024, Solvoz took a major step forward in accessibility by launching multi-lingual technology with auto-translate features on our platform, which now supports seven languages! This week, we’re thrilled to welcome Arabic to our platform, ensuring that even more communities can access and interact with our technology in their native language. By breaking down language barriers, Solvoz can further contribute to the crucial localisation of sourcing and procurement in the sector. 8 – WEF Davos 2024
This year, Solvoz’s CEO Claire Barnhoorn attended the World Economic Forum in Davos. This was a milestone opportunity for Solvoz to share our mission of creating fair and responsible markets whilst bridging the funding gap in our sector through more sustainable supply chains. 7 – Pooled procurement and Demand Aggregation

Our platform now enables organisations to combine their purchasing power, achieving greater efficiency and substantial cost savings by leveraging our innovative demand aggregation technology. By streamlining procurement processes and fostering collaboration, we’re enabling our partners to deliver more impactful results globally. We look forward to building on this success in 2025.
6 – Launch of NCDconnect
This year, we were honored to launch NCDconnect, an innovative portal and collaborative partnership with IDA Foundation aimed at tackling Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) globally. Our #6 – Launch of NCDconnect of the 10 highlights of Solvoz 2024:
NCDconnect is a groundbreaking procurement platform tailored to the needs of low- and middle-income countries that supports healthcare agencies by enhancing access to affordable, high-quality medicines, supplies, and diagnostics for NCDs. By helping to drive down costs and increase access to high-quality oncology, diabetes, and other NCD medications, NCDconnect contributes to advancing universal health coverage and our shared goal of making essential healthcare available to all.
We look forward to making further progress toward this goal in the year ahead.
5 – White-labelling Solvoz – a shift from our standard offering
2024 has been a transformative year for Solvoz as we launched the whitelabelling of our technology. This innovation enables organisations to tailor the unique capabilities of our platform to their specific requirements, hosting their very own Solvoz technology-powered portals on a designated URL. 4 – Team expansion with NGO Partnership Manager
In response to growing demand, this year Solvoz has further expanded its global reach. We’ve achieved this by providing organisations in our sector not only with our innovative technology, but also with hands-on support through our Procurement Capacity as a Service for market assessments and RFQs. To strengthen our partnerships with NGOs worldwide, we have also proudly welcomed NGO Partnership Manager, Valentina Taglioni, to our team. 3 – HELP Logistics partnership – launch of our Logistical Services Wizard
In 2024, we partnered with HELP Logistics to develop an innovative Logistical Services Wizard, empowering humanitarian organisations to streamline their sourcing and procurement of critical logistics services. This tool enhances transparency, supports proximity sourcing, and ensures alignment with donor compliance standards. We are proud and thankful for this collaborative opportunity, which is driving important and impactful change in humanitarian supply chain management! 2 – Expanding our PaaS offer – procurement capacity as a service
This year, we expanded our PaaS offering, supporting funders and organisations like Cordaid, Philips Foundation, and Resonance Global with market assessments, RFQs, and tenders. From assessing local tarpaulin manufacturing in the Philippines and Indonesia to running RFQs for travel agency services and sustainable medical supplies, our tailored support has helped our partners save time, optimise resources, and strengthen local supply chains.
