Terms of Reference: Tactical procurement expert medical devices & pharmaceuticals

Working hours: ECT (majority team members working in Europe)

Summary of the activities developed by the Procurement Section

1. Design and configure standard template designs for uses.
   1. Procedure steps and workflow
   2. Tender evaluation criteria
   3. Supplier pre-qualification and qualification criteria
   4. Contract award documentation
2. Identify tender specific solution packages, criteria and prerequisites
3. Support the development of integration requirements between the solutions catalogue and the tender platform

Objectives and expected output of the expert

1. Provide a standard template for the procurement through a tender of:
   1. Medical Devices
   2. Pharmaceutical
2. The template should include relevant questions related to:
   1. Quality and safety
   2. Legislation/certification requirements (national and international).
   3. Transportation and storage requirements (national and international)

Activities

The Solvoz team will brief the expert about Solvoz’s aims and activities. With special attention in the composition of medical solutions.  The experts briefing will include:

• Introduction to the Tender Platform and its approach and future functionalities.
• Explanation of template questionnaires structure and use (including the type of possible questions that can be utilised).

After which the expert will be supported to:

• Devise and create the questionnaire and present for review and validation
• Document the questionnaire and its design.

Requirement profile

Experience:  Extensive experience in international procurement of medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
